How we built Monbgul website

Monbgul means 'cloud' in Thamizh language. As Monbgul stands for, we are a Web Services (aka Cloud) consultancy services firm.

In this post, we have discussed about the various software / libraries / frameworks used to create this website and the reason for picking those.

Website has been created with Remix, a web framework. Please find below the libraries used within Remix for developing the website:

  • Remix
  • React
  • Material UI
  • Tailwind CSS
  • MDX
  • GitLab
  • Netlify

Why Remix?

Remix is a seamless server and browser runtime that provides snappy page loads and instant transitions by leveraging distributed systems and native browser features instead of clunky static builds. Built on the Web Fetch API (instead of Node) it can run anywhere.

Why React?

React is very simple, flexible and a library for building very powerful user interfaces.

Why Material UI?

MUI provides a robust, customizable, and accessible library of foundational and advanced components, enabling you to build your design system and develop React applications faster.

Why Tailwind CSS?

A utility-first CSS framework packed with classes to rapidly build modern websites without ever leaving your HTML.

Why Blogs using MDX?

MDX blends markdown and JSX syntax to fit perfectly in JSX-based projects. Since React & Remix supports JSX, MDX is a perfect partner for blogs.

Why GitLab?

Deliver software faster with better security and collaboration in a single platform.

Why Netlify?

Netlify unites an entire ecosystem of modern tools and services into a single, simple workflow for building high performance sites and apps.
